BMW service bulletin Nr. 1/63 (200) from May 9th 1963: "Upon request of many customers it was decided to re-introduce the 27:7 ratio for the sidecar machines R60, commencing with frame number 623 980. The hitherto used 26:6 ratio for the rear wheel drive is still availble on special request."
