Multitool Matra 499/1/2.

Our version fits both crankshafts with a 17mm and a 20mm nose.

Make sure to put an M8 bolt in the crankshaft nose with a small well in the center of the head to keep the Matra spindle centered and to prevent damage to the crankshaft nose.

This tool has multiple functions (in order of activity):

• to pull the housing cover from the crankcase
• to pull the camshaft gear wheel from the camshaft*
• to pull the crankshaft gear wheel from the crankshaft
• to pull the bearing cover from the crankcase

 * this only applies to the old model camshaft gears with 2 holes M8 x 1.25. Not included are the 2 bolts M8 x 1.25 x 45 mm

The later model camshaft gears will have to be pulled of with a standard puller or with an hydraulic press after the complete camshaft has been removed
