With a new, unused float chamber cover, the needle may stick in the hose connection.

Spray some brake cleaner into the hose connection and blow air through it to loosen the needle.

There is only 1 model of the new carburetor float top; this is therefore for both left and right.

If this cover is a replacement for the old model cover with the centrally located float needle, you will also need to replace the float needle: P/N 13111252178

The needle used to have a rubber tip: after the introduction of bio-ethanol fuel, BING had to switch to a full metal needle because the rubber was being affected.
