The extra 3 mm length makes it possible to use unused and undamaged thread windings
NOTE: for the 2-cylinder models, the exhaust nut can only be replaced on after-market header pipes without crossover pipe
On header pipes with crossover tube, it is not possible to replace the exhaust nut without cutting the seamed rim and welding a new one.
